Idioms & Phrases - (నుడికారములు)
Phrases are group of words without subject and verb functioning as a single part of speech. Hence, a phrase is made up of multiple words where all of them work together to form a larger meaning. పదబంధాలు విషయం మరియు క్రియ లేకుండా పదాల సమూహం. అందువల్ల, ఒక పదబంధం బహుళ పదాలతో రూపొందించబడింది, ఇక్కడ అవన్నీ కలిసి పెద్ద అర్థాన్ని ఏర్పరుస్తాయి.
hand to mouth ( హేండు టు మౌత్ ) = చాలీచాలని సంపాదస
The poor people live hand to mouth.

Over night (ఓవర్ నైట్) = రాత్రి వేళ

చెప్పుట, చాడీలు చెప్పి పాడుచేయుట

We shouldn't lose our self respect

Black sheep (బ్లాక్ షీప్) = దుర్మార్గుడు
The black marketeers are considered to be black sheep.
నల్లబజారు వ్యాపారస్తులు దుర్మార్గుల క్రింద పరిగణించబడతారు.
Good hand (గుడ్ హేండ్) = ప్రావీణ్యం గలవాడు
She is good hand in dance
ఆమె నాట్యం చేయుటలో ప్రావీణ్యం గల్గినది.
Hold one's tongue (హోల్డ్ వన్స్ టంగ్) మౌనంగా వుండు
You must hold your tongue నీవు తప్పక మౌనంగా వుండాలి.

Don't make fun of others ఇతరులను 'హేళన చేయవద్దు.
Lose one's temper (లూజ్ వన్స్ బంపర్) కోపోద్రిక్తు లగుట
The lecturer lost his temper when the student misbehaved.
అధ్యాపకుడు ఆ విద్యార్థి చెడుగా ప్రవర్తించినందుకు కోపోద్రిక్తు డైనాడు.

Crocodile tears (క్రోకోడైల్ టియర్స్) - మొసలి కన్నీరు

Students must face to face discuss the lessons, then only they understand the problems.
విద్యార్థులు ముఖాముఖిగా పాఠాల్ని చర్చించుకోవాలి. అప్పుడే వారు సమస్యలను అర్థం చేసుకొనగలరు.
Give and take (గివ్ అండ్ ఓక్) = ఇచ్చి పుచ్చుకొను
We must give and take respect మనం మర్యాద ఇచ్చి పుచ్చుకోదాలి.
