Tenses - క్రియ యొక కాలములు
Tense is a change in the form of the verb to express the time of an action. (ఒక వాక్యములో క్రియకు కాల మును తెలియజేయుటకై కలిగిన మార్పునే టెన్స్ (tense) అని అంటారు). ముఖ్యముగా tense మూడు కాలాలు.
1. Present Tense (వర్తమాన కాలము) : A verb that refers to present : జరగుచున్న కాలమును తెలియజేసేది.
Ex: I write.
2. Past Tense (భూతకాలము) : A verb that refers to past.; జరిగిపోయిన కాలాన్ని తెలియజేసేది.
Ex : I wrote.
3. Future Tense ( భవిష్యత్ కాలము) : A verb that refers to future : జరుగబోవు కాలాన్ని తెలియునది.
Ex: I shall write. మరల ఈ మూడు కలిపి తిరిగి ఒక్కొక్కటి నాలుగు విభాగములుగా విభజింపవచ్చు
1. Present Tense
a) Simple Present Tense or Present Indefinite Tense : If denotes a present action (ప్రస్తుతమునకు సంబంధించిన పనులను ఇది తెలిజేయును)
Ex : I Write a book. నేను ఒక పుస్తకము రా సెడివాడను...
b) Present Continuous Tense: It denotes an action as going on at present time (ప్రస్తుతము జరుగుచూ ఉన్న పనిని గూర్చి తెలియజేయునది)
Ex: I am writing a book. నేను ఒక పుస్తకమును “రానూ ఉన్నాను.
c) Present Perfect Tense: It denotes an action which has just been completed (ఇప్పుడే ముగిసిన పనిని తెలియజేయును.
Ex : I have written a book " నేను ఒక పుస్తకమును వ్రాసితిని.
d) A Present Perfect Continuous Tense : It denotes an action which began at some time in the pat and is going on at the present time. (ఇది ఒక పని Past లో ప్రారంభమై ఇప్పుడు కూడా జరుగుచున్న దానిని తెలి యజేయును.)
Ex: I have been writing a book. నేనొక పుస్త కమును వ్రాస్తూ ఉన్నాను.
Past Tense :
a) Simple Past Tense : It denotes a past action (x& చిపోయిన పనిని - గూర్చి ఇది తెలియజేయును)
Ex : I wrote a book. నేను ఒక పుస్తకమును వ్రాసాను.
b) Past Continuous Tense : It denotes an action as going on at sometime in the past past లో ఒక సమ. యము నుండి జరుగుచున్న పనికి తెలియజేయును.) I was writing a book. నేను ఒక పుస్తకమును వ్రాస్తూనే ఉన్నాను.
c) Past Perfect Tense: It denotes an action completed before a certain time in the past. (ఇది past సమయమునకు ముందు పూర్తి అయిన పనిని గూర్చి తెలియ జేయును.)
Ex: I had written a book. నేనొక , పుస్తకమును వ్రాసియుంటిని.
d) Past Perfect Continuous Tense: It denotes an action which was started in the past and continuoued for some time (past లో ఒక పని ప్రారంభమై కొంతకా లము జరిగిన దానిని గూర్చి తెలియజేసేది.)
Ex: I had been writing a book. నేను ఒక పుస్తకమును వ్రాయుచుంటిని.
Future Tense :
a) Simple Future or Indefinite: It denotes an action which will take place in future (ఇది భవిష్యత్తులో జరుగు పనిని తెలియజేయును.)
Ex : I shall write a book, నేను ఒక పుస్తకమును వ్రాస్తాను.
b) Future Continuous Tense: It denotes an action as going on at sometime in future (భవిష్యత్తులో ఒక సమయము నుండి జరుగుచున్న పనిని తెలియజేయును)
Ex : I shall be writing a book. నేనొక పుస్తకము వ్రాస్తూ ఉంటాను.
c) Future Perfect Tense: It denotes an action which will be completed by certain time in future (భవిష్యత్తులో ఒక సమయమునకు తెలియజేయు పనిని తెలియజేయును.)
Ex: I shall have been written a book. నేనొక ' పుస్తక మును వ్రాసియుండగలను.
d). Future Perfect Continuous Tense: It denoted an action which is represented as being in progress over a period of time that will end in future. (భవిష్య తులో కొంత సమయముగా జరుగుచున్న పనిని తెలియజేయును)
Ex : I shall have been writing a book. నేనొక పుస్తకం వ్రాస్తూ ఉండి ఉండెడి వాడిని.
Note : ఈ' మూడు tables ( టేబుల్స్)ను ఉపయోగించి ఈ క్రింద ఇచ్చిన verbs (three forms) సహాయంతో వీలైనన్ని Exercise లు ప్రాక్టీసు చేయడం మంచిది.
